Rhyl gets a bad press overall and since moving away and then returning, I've realised that although it has hit hard times, it is no different in many ways from anywhere else.

Keith Arnatt ironically declared in 1972 "I'm a Real Artist", but irony in art and me isn't something I want linked to Rhyl.

All I can say in sincerity is - "I'm A Rhyl Artist."
